I am a certified member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, the world's oldest and largest professional body of Alexander Technique teachers.  I offer private lessons in the Alexander Technique both at the  Constructive Teaching Centre in Holland Park, West London and at my private practice in Wedmore, Somerset.

People come to the Alexander Technique for many different reasons.  Because it is a method of mental and physical re-education, it can have a positive effect on a wide range of stresses and ailments, including back pain, neck or shoulder pain and other muscular/skeletal problems, headaches, RSI, breathing difficulties, sports and performance strain, stress related conditions, anxiety and depression; as well as enhancing performance, improving vitality and general wellbeing.

On the following pages you will be able to find out more about the Alexander Technique and how it might help you, as well as information about me and my approach to teaching.

However, the Alexander Technique is essentially about experience.  To truly understand it, I would encourage you to come along for a trial lesson and experience it for yourself. Please click here to book a lesson, or I would be very pleased to hear from you if you would like further information.
